randomly checking back in and being completely self indulgent
Wow, so it's been a while since I've been on this site. But since few few people in my real life know about it, I thought it might be an interesting place to just write about my life for a bit. A lot . . . more

Your last name would not be "Miller" would it aye?
Probably not?
Your personality, geographic location, persona-type, and online moniker made me ask...

J S., Nov 6, 2008, 8:43PM ESTHi John. I've been inspired by the election to work harder for our equal rights. I'm thinking that we need to have an organized effort that is more direct and less complacent. The major LGBT organizations are doing a decent job on the legal/political front. But, I think we may want to try a more humanistic, interactive approach. I like what you're doing with the "ask anything" thread. It's a great example of what really makes a change.
Are you on Facebook? If so, I'm starting to organize a coalition of college students (then eventually others) to start an actual movement for our civil rights, particularly marriage. If we can't get our equal rights with Obama in office, when will we get them? If you want to join, the group is (tentatively) called Gay and Lesbian Coalition for Equal Rights on Facebook. I am also starting a similar group on Gather, but it will attract a different audience. If you're interested, please consider joining both!
